Video Review....
Return of the Qimutsiit

reviewed by Sue Hamilton

Produced in 2006 and shown in Canada in February, 2007, Return of the Qimutsiit (52 minutes) relates the history of the Inuit Sled Dog in Nunavik as told through the history and the running of the annual Ivakkak dog sled race. The focus is on two entrants of the 2005 Ivakkak - an Elder and a young musher. (This documentary was not available for review prior to publishing the March, 2007 issue of The Fan Hitch).
