. “Ginger” my Alpha male “Boss dog” to the left and “Whiskers” my Alpha female and third generation lead dog to the right. They were the last two dogs I had and they were given to Mark Schurke of Base Camp Bigfork, Montana. After a drive of 1450 km from Hay River, NWT, this transfer of ownership occurred on February 5th, 2010 at Carway, Alberta on the Canadian side of the Canada/USA border crossing at 113° 22’ on the 49th Parallel. Mark used them with his existing team of Inuit Dogs in his ecotourism business. Previous to this, a year before and thanks to Connie Arsenault several of my other Canadian Inuit Dogs were given a new home at her Snowy Owl Sled Dog Tours in Canmore, Alberta. |
