Two of “Blackie’s” sons. These two dogs later went to Little Cornwallis Island and were part of the
dogs I had there under contract to Bechtel who were constructing Polaris mine in an area that had a
 very high density of Polar Bears.  The aim was to keep workers safe and to keep the bears out of the
 construction camp by having two packs of dogs constantly patrolling the area with an Inuit dog handler.
